WHAT IS THE UPSTATE GROOVE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM?
For over a decade, Upstate Groove Productions has been working at the center of New York’s music and cultural scene. Over the years we have worked tirelessly to acquired the necessary skills to build a successful multimedia production company. In hopes of giving back, we have designed an internship program to enable young creators with opportunities that have taken us years of blood, sweat and tears to acquire. We believe “putting your feet to the fire” and jumping right into professional productions and projects is the best way to learn. We want to teach fundamental skills and provide opportunities to talented young individuals in order to pave the way for their future careers as creators.

Upstate Groove Productions is constantly growing. We work with a wide range of celebrities, athletes and business people. Interning with Upstate Groove will put you at the heart of New York’s culture and provide opportunities you won’t be able to get anywhere else. Every member of the UGP team is skilled in all aspects of digital media and have been honing their craft professionally for over a decade. We take our craft and our business seriously. Join us on the ride and gain a foundational set of skills to begin your career in media creation. Talented interns who prove their value and dedication throughout the internship program will be given the opportunity to join the Upstate Groove Productions team.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Upstate Groove Productions works on a per project basis. Not all productions will require assistance from interns but many will. You will be notified ASAP about upcoming video shoots where you will working directly on real productions with the Upstate Groove team. Typically video shoots will begin in the afternoon and may continue into the early morning hours. Many video shoots will be located in NYC or New Jersey.
